Gave a code name to their racial attacks on Indians as ‘Curry Bashing.’ Recently Sravan Kumar, Baljendar Singh and some others were attacked in Melbourne city by the racists. The barbarous act of Australian racists is not a recent development. It started very long back. Upkar Singh Babbal, a close relative of Indian cricketer Harbajan Singh was died in the attacks by Australian Racists in the year 2004. His father Jagajith Singh revealed this stunning news to media yesterday only, as he was shocked to know about the latest attacks on Indian students.
Upkar Singh went to Australia in 2004 to study hospital management course, where he was killed by a taxi driver in the same year. Australian Police refused to file a case against the culprit and denied to make any enquiry or conduct post-mortem to the body. Finally, Upkar Singh’s body was transported to India by his friends. Neither Indian nor Australian Governments showed any interest in his case, till date.
