News from Chennai is that Sukanya who got married in 2002 to an NRI Sridharan returned to India right the next year. Since then, she has been focusing on her career and now, she has applied for divorce without consent from her husband and this has raked up an issue.
While the husband has filed a writ, the court for now has ruled it in favor of Sukanya. Though it is a bit of sensitive situation, Sukanya’s fans are all smiles since they know that she is going to be around for a longer time.
