Vara Mullapudi Behind ‘Maryada Ramanna’

The latest release to hit the theaters is ‘Maryada Ramanna’ and if you are wondering what Vara Mullapudi has to do with the film, here is the link. Apparently, the Telugu crowds are familiar with the terms ‘Moola Kathalu’ and ‘Maru Moola Kathalu’. Something like that was used in this venture as well.

The opening of the film shows a caption that reads ’moola kathalu, maaru moola kathalu maa ku cheppe Mullapudi Vara gaariki kruthajnathalu’. Well, the truth is that Vara Mullapudi narrated a ‘maaru moola’ story to the makers and from there the story developed.

To add to it, some are saying that the ‘Maru Moola Katha’ has come from Hollywood. The film’s basic plot is taken from ‘Our Hospitality’, a silent movie released in 1923, and that’s why the buzz. Whatever it may be, the film has created a lot of expectations for the audience.
