Hot Anushka challenges Sweet Samantha

Anushka was the leading heroine in Telugu Cinema, before she decided to concentrate more on Tamil films. She moved her base to Chennai when she is still ruling the roost in Tollywood. Anushka has never given an explanation about why she had chosen Tamil over Telugu films. Meanwhile many young heroines started to catch up and Anushka was forgotten.

Likes of Samantha, Kajal and Tamanna have sidelined Anushka completely. Now our makers are hardly thinking about roping in Anushka for any biggie. However, Anushka is looking to strike back with a bang. She has two films to release later this year and both are big movies. Besides that she has a couple of dubbed films to have a grand release here.

Anushka's Damarukam will arrive in October and Varadhi with Prabhas will be out in December. She has two big Tamil films to have simultaneous release in Telugu. Anushka is going all out to challenge the ruling queens in Tollywood. Who knows she might even topple Samantha from the top and take over the throne. All she needs is one good and solid hit.
