In a filmy style, a man named V Naresh Kumar alias Adithya was
arrested by Hyderabad Task Force police for allegedly cheating a woman
advocate of Rs 50 lakhs by promising her a role in Rajamouli's
multistarrer 'RRR'. The cops also arrested Naresh Kumar's friends
Somanna and Rama Krishna for abusing and threatening the lady.
As
per the reports, Naresh Kumar found the female lawyer's mobile number in
a telephone directory and approached her claiming to be a film producer
seeking legal advice. He kept meeting her occasionally and asked her
one fine day if she is interested in acting.
When the woman evinced interest, Naresh Kumar even imitated Rajamouli's voice on the mobile and assured her a role in RRR. After gaining her trust, Naresh made the lady transfer Rs 50 lakhs to his bank account from January to June this year on the pretext of taking membership for her in the Film Chamber, Movie Artiste Association (MAA) and other film bodies.
Apart from money, Naresh also took away the advocate's Maruti Dzire car and never returned it to her. Recently, Naresh's friends Somanna and Rama Krishna too met the lady and asked for money. When she refused, they began abusing and threatening her, which prompted her to approach the police.
