Nearly after a year, Puri Jagannadh is returning to the film sets. Known for completing films in a jiffy, the 50-plus director has slowed down in life.
Having bounced back with the massive success of “iSmart Shankar”, Puri Jagannadh is not in hurry to complete films in a short span.
Puri Jagannadh put a halt to the shooting of “Liger” much before the lockdown was announced. It took him a year to resume the shoot again.
His new boxing drama, Liger, will resume shoot in Mumbai tomorrow (Feb 11).
The film will be released in five languages in September. Buzz is that September 9th or 10th will be locked as its release date.
Karan Johar is also co-producing the sports drama that also features Ramya Krishna, Ananya Panday, and Ronit Roy as part of the ensemble cast.
