Salman Khan Locks Telugu Writer's Story

After Bajrangi Bhaijaan, a film penned by senior Telugu writer Vijayendra Prasad, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up to act in a film penned by another noted Telugu writer, Kona Venkat.

During the promotions of his upcoming film, "Tiger Zinda Hai", Salman Khan opened up on his line up of films. Among the five films that he declared, there is "Sher Khan", a subject penned by Kona Venkat. Impressed by the script, Salman has bought it a long time ago, and he seems to have finally decided to make it into a film. His younger brother, Sohail Khan will direct "Sher Khan".

For the starters, Kona had earlier penned Salman's "Ready" (an official remake of Telugu super hit film, 'Ready') and "No Entry" sequel.

The other films declared by Salman are - Race 3 (already in production stage), Bharat (to be directed by his 'Sultan' director Ali Abbas Zafar), Dabangg 3 (to be helmed by Prabhu Deva), 'Kick' sequel and choreographer-director Remo’s dance-based film.

Salman is currently busy promoting his highly anticipated actioner, "Tiger Zinda Hai", which is all set for a grand release on December 22.

Kangana Losing Films Because of Hrithik!

An all-alone girl coming from a small village to the biggest film industry of this country with nothing but dreams, making it to the top league without any Godfather in itself is a huge achievement. The bold and talented Kangana Ranaut took her stardom, earned with the help of her sheer talent and hard work, to an altogether infamous level by daring to lock horns with two Bollywood giants - Hrithik Roshan and Karan Johar.

Kangana's infamous verbal war and legal battle with Hrithik is known to all. The fearless actress has remained steadfast even though most of the Hindi film industry took Hrithik's side in this battle. Probably for the first time, Kangana has recently talked about how this whole issue involving Hrithik affected her career.

In an interview, Kangana reportedly confessed that her endorsements had come down and so do her earnings. "My commercial viability has been affected, and my plan to open my own production house has had to be pushed," Kangana said when asked about the impact of Hrithik-related controversies on her career.

The daring actress added that she can't be written off just yet as she had three films in pipeline. She has recently been invited for a talk at the prestigious Harvard Business School, an honor given to only a handful of Indian actors thus far.

House Full, Yet Another South Story?

Bollywood film maker Sajid Nadiadwala has a lot of interest in southern films. This producer-director re-made several Telugu and Tamil films into Hindu in his decades-long career. Though he made a few straight films in Hindi, they too have their roots in South and so, they appear they are remakes of South films. Sajid’s technique is to remake old South films and project them as straight Hindi films by giving them latest titles. One such film is House Full, which has become a super hit. He made two sequels for this film House Full and House Full-2; and now House Full-3 is getting ready for release. Interestingly, the storylines for the first two films in the series are of South Indian films. The first one – House Full – is a virtual remake of Telugu film “Navvandi Lavvandi” starring Kamal Haasan and Prabhu Deva. The second in the series – House Full-2, is also a remake of another Telugu film - Hangama, directed by S V Krishna Reddy, which was also a remake of a Malayalam film. Now, the third in Sajid series – House Full-3 is releasing soon and there is every reason to believe that it also must be a remake of another South Indian film. So watch out for its release to know which film Sajid has copied.

Gone are the days where audience used to watch overweight heroes on screen. People are not willing to watch heroes that are out of shape. Every young hero is hitting the gym or appointing a personal trainer to stay fit. However not everyone can be fit as a fiddle even if they have crores of rupees to spend upon the trainers and gyms. Tiger Shroff's rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani seems to have finally got lucky. The actress was earlier in talks with Bollywood's leading production houses for two movies, but none of them materialised. She has finally landed a role in director Neeraj Pandey's 'MS Dhoni —

 The Untold Story', in which she will play the Indian skipper's former flame. A source close to the project confirms, "As there was no reference for the character, we were looking out for a young and vivacious girl. Disha fit the bill perfectly. Her character is one of the catalysts in the film. Her pairing with Sushant Singh Rajput looks good."

For Single Scene, 2000 Toys Used!

For just a single scene, at least 2000 toys were used. This is for Ajay Devgn-starrer and directorial Shivaay. Ajay Devgn has bought 2000 soft toys and dolls for his on-screen daughter. Ajay, who plays a father to 10-yr-old British child actor Abigail Eames, pampered her with the toys. Since Ajay and Kajol's own daughter Nyasa is of same age, he apparently knows what toys mean for a 10-yr-old girl. This is not all. All these toys are custom-made toys and one won't find them anywhere. For a particular scene which was to be shot in Abigail's room, Ajay called in for 2000, custom-made toys, dolls. He wanted his on-screen daughter's room to look as extravagant as the room of any other girl of her age. Inside buzz is that Ajay is paying attention to every little detail of the film and trying to enhance the film. With this, Ajay once again proved that he's not just doting off screen but also a good dad on-screen. The film marks B-town debut of Sayyeshaa who made her Telugu debut with Akhil.

Arjun Slams For Rumours On Divorce Petition

Slamming it as 'irresponsible reporting', actor Arjun Rampal has said that he has not filed for any divorce petition after reports suggested that he and his wife Mehr Jessia were getting separated.
