'Swathi' Balram Ban Gaya Sex Specialist!!
We have been reading about fake doctors in the newspapers. For few years, they work with real doctors as compounders or office boys and then they take this experience as the asset and take the avatar as doctor.
Though the issue runs smoothly for few days at one point the entire drama gets exposed obviously. Right now, the noted Swathi Balaram seems to be doing the same thing by bloating the readers with his phrases. Ever since the magazine has started, Swathi Balram has been getting the queries of readers related to sexual problems answered and made good money. But now, he has taken up the avatar of a ‘sex specialist’ and continuing the show. For many years, the sex column was dealt by the specialist Samaram and it appears that Balram got worried that Samaram’s popularity will increase due to his magazine. In no time, he removed Samaram and got one Madan Kataria to answer the queries. Just like the way Balram was running the magazine with his daughter Manichandana, even Madan Kataria started dealing with the sex column along with his daughter without any shame. Now, it is not sure why a difference of opinion cropped up between that father-daughter and this father-daughter but the news is that Madan and his daughter have stopped offering their services to ‘Swathi’.
With that, the answers to the sexual problems of the readers are being given by Vemuri Balram and his daughter Manichandana. To be frank, the regular readers of the magazine who go through it week by week are good enough to answer the queries easily. Most of the questions are like ‘I do masturbation regularly, is there any harm with that?’ ‘Recently, I got involved in sex with a woman who is elder than me, will this lead to any danger?’ ‘The size of my organ is very small, will I be able to satisfy my would-be wife?’. The truth is, such silly questions will never be sent by the esteemed readers. The sub editors who are working in that magazine use their creativity and prepare questions along with the answers for that. In a way, this is also one form of ‘Masturbation’. And so, the magazine management must have thought why to give free publicity to doctors by paying them so much money to answer such fictitious sex questions, what they have been doing unofficially through their sub editors, they are doing it officially.
Guess there is no harm in using the analogy that a compounder has taken the role of a doctor. But then, is this the kind of activity the largest circulated magazine supposed to do??

Telugu techie is coolest in US
Four Indian-Americans, including Mr Vikas Reddy, a Telugu, have been named among 30 of America’s “coolest young entrepreneurs” by monthly business magazine Inc.
The achievers are people who are “building unique brands, making money along the way and changing the way we do business”.
Mr Vikas Reddy co-founded Occipital, a technology start-up in Colorado in 2008. It has developed RedLaser, a best-selling iPhone app that lets users scan barcodes. Since May 2009, RedLaser has been downloaded more than two million times, making it one of the most popular paid-iPhone apps in the market.
According to Mr Vikas Reddy, their firm Occipital in December 2008 “was running on fumes.” They finally decided to ask their families for money.
Mr Vikas Reddy wrote on his blog they had decided to build next generation augmented reality technology, but it was still going to require some money.”
“So we did something that didn’t require a lot of money,” he wrote. Occi-petal launched an iPhone app called ClearCam, which is actually the beginnings of next-generation augmented reality engine.”
To users, it doubles the resolution of their iPhone 2G/3G camera, takes photos faster, and can intelligently select sharp photos, Mr Reddy notes. “Since the camera was perhaps the most-criticised element of the iPhones, ClearCam was a hit, and has been downloaded 780,000 times.”

'Naidu Is Making Harikrishna A Scapegoat'
Is Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu making his brother-in-law Nandamuri Harikrishna a scapegoat in his attack on the Telangana Rashtra Samithi?
The answer is yes, according to former Congress minister T Jeevan Reddy. Surprisingly, Jeevan Reddy came to the defense of TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao, saying it was Naidu who had ditched the Congress which had given him political life. “If KCR has betrayed the TDP, what did Naidu do? He, too, had grown politically in the Congress party,” Jeevan Reddy pointed out.
He accused Naidu of using Harikrishna to attack the TRS, thereby projecting his brother-in-law as a villain in the eyes of Telangana people. “Naidu knows how to utilize the people. He has made Harikrishna a scapegoat,” he said, adding that the TDP can very well be described as “Telangana Drohula Party.”
TRS legislator T Harish Rao also lashed out at Harikrishna saying the people had not forgotten how he had betrayed his own father N T Rama Rao by joining hands with Naidu in dethroning the TDP patriarch. “Where was he hiding, when the TDP legislators were throwing chappals at his father?” Harish Rao asked.

14 MLAs Ready To Ditch Chiru!
Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi’s assurance that his party would save Congress government whenever it requires appears to have not many takers within the party.
In fact, Chiranjeevi’s statement has led to heated debate within the party and made them wonder whether the party would have its own identity in the coming days. One wonders whether the PRP can really save the Rosaiah government, if such a situation arises.
The PRP has only 18 seats in the assembly and as many as 14 legislators are reportedly differing with Chiranjeevi to support the Rosaiah government. At least eight of them might come out of the PRP if Chiranjeevi really supports Rosaiah in the event of a crisis.
For instance, Nirmal MLA A Maheshwar Reddy is not maintaining close relations with party as he abided by Telangana statehood demand. Allagadda MLA Bhuma Shoba Nagi Reddy might sail with Jagan group because of her newly-found relationship with YSR family. Another MLA Katasani Rami Reddy is staying away from the PRP activities. Many others are also not willing to abide by Chiru stand, sources say.

The iconic songwriter Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry has been wowing the Telugu audience with his words in songs from decades. Now, his sons are gearing up to take the legacy forward. Apparently, Sirivennela has got two sons and both of them are attempting to make a mark in two different streams.
While one son Raja has already made his debut as an actor and was seen in the film ‘Keka’, he is now going through few scripts and is waiting for the right kind of opportunity. The other son happens to be Yogeshwar and he is making his debut as the music director.
In a way, the entire family seems to be in different wings of the film circuit and with talent being their inherent quality, it will be interesting to see whether both lads will be able to make their father proud or not. Here’s wishing Raja and Yogi the very best of luck for their future.

Telugu lyricist Veturi passes away at 74
One of the doyens of Telugu film industry, lyric writer Dr Veturi Sundara Ramurthy, 74, died of a massive cardiac arrest at a private hospital here on Saturday night. He was admitted to the hospital two days ago and was kept in ICU.
Veturi was born on January 29, 1936 at Peda Kallepalli in Krishna district. While working as a journalist, Veturi became popular by writing songs for Dr K. Viswanath’s O Sita Katha, Siri Siri Muvva, Saptapadi, Swati Mutyam and Sagara Sangam. He penned hundreds of popular songs.
Veturi began his career as a journalist and worked for prominent dailies like Andhra Patrika and Andhra Prabha before becoming a lyricist. His songs varied from classical to folk and mass. He was also the second lyricist from the Telugu film industry to win the National Film Award for the Best Lyrics for the song ‘Raalipoye puvva neeku ragaalenduke’ from the movie Maathrudevobhava in the year 1994. But, he gave back the award since Telugu was not recognised as an ancient language. He also received the AP government’s Nandi award more than eight times.
As a writer, he won laurels for his book 'Sirikakolanu Chinnadi' from Gyanpith Awardee, late Dr Viswanatha Satyanarayana.
Veturi cherished his professional relationship with the national award winning Telugu film director, Dr. K. Viswanath, and renowned music composers, K.V. Mahadevan and Ilaiyaraaja.

Praneetha Kasani got killed in car accident in West Virginia
Six Telugu students involved in auto accident in West Virginia; Praneetha Kasani died instantly.
Praneetha Devi Kasani, 21yrs, came to USA in December 2009 after completing her B. Tech from Hyderabad and enrolled in MS Electrical Engineering at Wright State University, Ohio. Praneetha went to West Virginia along with her friends and while coming back to Ohio their car met with an accident around 6:45 AM on Thursday, May 06, 2010 on High way I-64 in Beckley city in West Virginia State and died instantly. Praneetha is survived by one sister and parents who live in Hyderabad. Praneetha’s father Mr. Ramarao Kasani works as a Circle Inspector of Police in Hyderabad, AP.
Sashi Venkata Kondury, 22 yrs, Harika Vangeti, 22yrs, Pavan Kumar Ragavajhala 23 yrs, Praneetha Devi Kasani, 21 yrs all are from Wright State Ohio University and Puneeth Reddy Amarella, 22 yrs and Santosh Maddali are from University of Northern Virginia left West Virginia around 2:00 AM to go to Ohio. As per preliminary reports - Puneeth Reddy who was driving lost control of his car around 6:45 AM and collided with another car in the left lane. Praneetha got ejected from the car and died instantly. Though all other passengers got injured badly they will be discharged from hospital in a day or two and are all out of danger.
Prasad Thotakura, TANA Executive Vice President, Mohan Nannapaneni, TANA Secretary, Naren Kodali, TANA Trustee, Subba Rao Kolla, TANA Regional Director and several TANA Team Square volunteers including Dr. Rajendra Prasad Valiveti of West Virginia are working on the case. Rice State University of Ohio Indian Students Association President Raghu Bhagavatula, and other students like Rajesh Yarlagadda, Leela Krishna helping in the situation.
Parents of Praneetha and relatives are in great shock by hearing the news and Rama Rao Kasani father of Praneetha spoke with Prasad Thotakura and requested TANA to help in sending the body to Hyderabad as soon as possible.
“We are in the process of contacting Indian Consulate officials, Funeral Home, obtaining needed certificates to send the deceased to Hyderabad the earliest possible time. We hope to complete all formalities and send the body to Hyderabad by next Tuesday. Said Prasad Thotakura.
Jayaram Komati, TANA President and all other Governing Board members of TANA offered their deepest condolences to Kasani family and pray for the speedy recovery of all other injured.

Comedian Brahmanandam makes heroes wait!
The cold war between the Telugu film producers and actors is reaching a new high. The producers council which met a couple of days ago has decided to impose heavy cuts in the remuneration of actors in a bid to prevent escalating production cost of the film.
In this regard, the producers are openly talking about how some actors are harassing producers and causing tremendous inconvenience not only to them, but also to the fellow actors. One of the producers told this correspondent that comedian Brahmanandam, these days, has turned a villain for the producers. “He has become so important for a film that many a time, shooting schedules had to be cancelled for his sake. There were several instances of Brahmanandam making young heroes to wait for hours just for a five minute shot,” he lamented.
The producers council is learnt to have decided to impose a 50 per cent cut in the remuneration of comedians, so that they would mend their ways and fall in line. They are also planning to encourage new talent, rather than depending on the old faces.

Why Only Balakrishna Is Targeted For Email Jokes?
Whenever a new movie is about to hit the screen, the one man who gets featured into the posters and stills is yuvaratna Nandamuri Balakrishna. Incidentally, eight out of ten films tend to have him as the person with a very funny caption. He was not spared even for the international blockbuster ‘Avatar’.
So, why Balayya gets targeted all times? Well, the reasons are many and let us have a look. Top in the list is the Paruchuri brothers who pen some really unbelievable senseless dialogues for Balayya after Narasimha Naidu. Then there are those illogical scenes like the one in ‘Chennakesava Reddy’ which no one will forget.

Newly wed 'Sania is no poster girl'
Employees of petrol pumps of a company endorsed by Sania Mirza are so upset by her marriage to Shoaib Malik, that they have taken to removing her posters from their petrol pumps.
"We have removed Sania's face from all the posters displayed here as we don't like her marrying a Pakistani cricketer," said an employee at the company's petrol pump at the Bangalore International Airport road.
"We were Sania's fans earlier. That is not the case anymore. How can any Indian marry a Pakistani?" asked an attendant at another petrol pump.

A businessman who owns a petrol pump of the company said all posters featuring Sania had been removed because they don't want any trouble.
"This is just being done to be on the safer side. How do we handle if some miscreants decide to pelt stones at us. The is nothing we can do in such a situation.
We hope removing the posters makes it safe for us. We don't want to invite any trouble," said the businessman.
He added, "Few of our regular customers took strong objection to her posters and advised us to have them removed."
Allu arjun's Badrinath to shoot in Uttaranchal
Allu Arjun starrer Badrinath is set to start its shooting in the holy place of Badrinath, Uttaranchal. It is said that a periodical set will be created for the film which would cost around 2 crores. Soon the movie will start its first schedule and the team is expected to shoot around 60 days in Badrinath.
Badrinath is the tenth movie of Allu Arjun and this will be his second movie with director VV Vinayak. Tamanna is pairing with Allu and Bollywood actor Nana Patekar is playing a vital role in the film. MM Keeravani is scoring the music and Ravi Varman is handling the camera and Allu Arvind is producing the film under Geetha Arts.
