'Sorry' Tiger says will return, but not when

Despair and hope followed one another in quick succession at a cosy clubhouse room in TPC Sawgrass, home of the US PGA tour, on Friday as a contrite Tiger Woods apologized for his "selfish" behaviour and at the same time, showed signs of moving on.

"I do plan to return to golf one day, I just don't know when that day will be. I don't rule out that it will be this year," Woods said to the gathering of 40-odd people, including his mother.

Woods to step out of sex rehab soon

Tiger Woods will reportedly come out of a rehabilitation clinic and fly home with his wife Elin Nordegren by the end of this week.

The shamed golfer was purportedly being treated for sex addiction at the rehab in Mississippi following the scandal linking him to as many as 19 mistresses.

The World No.1 was said to have nearly finished the programme at the 40,000-dollar a-course Pine Grove centre after confessing he cheated on his wife, reports the New York Post.

The couple was apparently planning to leave the facility and head out to spend some time together.

"Tiger and Elin want to be alone out of public when he leaves the clinic. He should be out by the weekend. They are giving their marriage another try," a source told RadarOnline.

Tiger Woods "Broken teeth with golf club"

Furman Bisher one of America's most respected sports journalists claims that Golfer Tiger Woods needed face rebuilding after his angry wife Elin Nordegren hit him with a golf club, reports The Sun.

Wife broke Tiger Woods' teeth with golf club

Bisher described as the country's top golf writer said the nine iron smashed the golf legend's cheek bone and that his two front teeth were almost knocked out reported the newspaper website thesun.co.uk. He also claimed the injuries are the real reason Woods has not been seen in public since his mysterious car smash early Nov 27.

The journalist posted on his blog that Tiger spent America's Thanksgiving Day, Nov 26, exchanging texts with mistress Rachel Uchitel. He then went out to play poker with friends but left his mobile phone behind and Elin read one of the messages.

Woods returned at midnight and there was a "heated discussion".

"Tiger sat in a chair in the living room. Elin sat across from him, urging Tiger to just come clean. Tiger stayed to his guns and denied everything," Bisher posted.

"At one point Tiger turned away to look at the TV and as he turned back Elin hit him on the right side of the face with the head of a nine iron.

"She put a huge gash in the right side of his face next to his nose, causing his nose to bruise some, virtually knocking two of his upper teeth out and breaking the bone on the upper right side," he added.

The blog also revealed that as Woods tried to drive off, Elin smashed the car windows. He hit a tree outside their home in Orlando, Florida.

Bisher said the golfer took a private jet to Phoenix, Arizona, to see a plastic surgeon and cosmetic dentist for reconstructive procedures.

Tiger has now been linked to at least 14 women and has publicly apologised to his wife for cheating on her. While Elin is said to have seen a divorce lawyer and spent Christmas with her family in her native Sweden.

Mystery woman carried out of Tiger's residence

In the latest episode of the sleazy soap opera that Tiger Woods’s domestic life has turned into, an unidentified blonde woman was reported An unidentified woman being brought into Health Central hospital in Ocoee, Florida. Fire department medics responded early Tuesday to a 911 call in the same block as Tiger Woods' Orlando-area home and took an adult patient to the hospital.

to have been taken to hospital in a stretcher from the golfer’s Florida home early Tuesday morning. The development occurred even as a website reported that Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, had moved out and was living in another house in the neighbourhood.

An ambulance responded to a call for medical assistance from Woods’s Florida home, US media reported. Local television said the call was made at 2:36am, local time. TV reports said that a radio log showed that an adult woman was transported from Tiger’s home to the Health Central Hospital in nearby Ocoee. The woman, said to be middle-aged, was listed as an advanced life support patient.

Hospital officials refused to identify the patient amid media speculation that she could be Tiger’s mother-in-law, Swedish politician Barbro Holmberg. The hospital later said she had been released.

Meanwhile, a website, citing ‘‘sources close to the golfer’’ and neighbours, reported that Tiger’s wife Elin had moved out of the couple’s $2.6 million Windermere home. The website, RadarOnline.com said Woods and his aides were keeping Elin’s move a secret in the hope she would come back soon.

It is believed that Woods and his wife of five years have been renegotiating their prenuptial agreement in an attempt to persuade her to stay with him.

Elin has reportedly bought a Swedish mansion worth over $2 million. "The official story from her family is that she bought the place with her twin sister, Josefin, not with Tiger," a Swedish news agency was quoted as saying. Elin’s Swedish home is located on prime Scandinavian real estate - a small, secluded island reachable from Stockholm only by ferryboat.

In yet another sensational turn, it was reported that Woods may have been rushed to hospital with a suspected overdose of prescription drugs the day he crashed his car outside his house.

The star’s wife, Elin Nordegren, gave paramedics at the hospital two bottles of prescription drugs, Vicodin painkillers and Ambien sleeping pills, according to celebrity website TMZ. He was said to have been having trouble breathing, was falling in and out of consciousness and doctors even had to use a tube to help him breathe.

The Orlando Sentinel reported that the police sought a subpoena to obtain Tiger’s hospital blood test results, but the request was rejected. At a TV show, a website’s chief investigative correspondent said that it was strange that a 33-year-old world-class athlete like Tiger Woods was found on the grass, snoring, after the accident. "He fell asleep, which raises the questions for some doctors - was he on sleep agents or possibly on pain medications that may have dulled him?"

Two more women were added to the list of the golfer’s alleged mistresses, taking the increasing number to 10. One of the two women who "confessed" on Monday was a porn star named Holly Sampson, who has starred in films like Lingerie Or Bust and Diary Of A Horny Housewife. The second was an unnamed cocktail waitress who said she had a two-year affair with Woods.
