Ananthapuram-Worth a Watch

The Tamil dub film Ananthapuram 1980 is worth a watch. The film, which is basically a thriller, holds the audiences interest and the screenplay is engrossing enough. The rural settings of 1980’s India have been captured excellent and the credit should to the director Sasi Kumar for visualizing such a treat.




Performances wise, the protagonist, played by Sasi Kumar is apt. Swathi looks cute and fits the bill perfectly. The rest of the cast too, give authentic performances. Music is interwoven into the film.

The only drawback is the slow narration of the film, but despite the laggard speed the film is engrossing.
