A fashion week for men

India will showcase a men's fashion week for the very first time. The VanHeusen India Mens Week will be held in Delhi from the 11th - 13th September 2009. Van Heusen has tied up with FDCI (Fashion Design Council of India), to organise an annual conclave for men's fashion in India.

So far, men's collections were showcased during the Wills India Fashion Week and Lakme Fashion Week.

Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI, was delighted to have Van Heusen on board as the principal partner to such a unique event and said, "This has been a "dream - project" for me at FDCI. The Van Heusen India Mens Week will also provide a platform for young and upcoming designers, including special recognition."

The 3-day event will have 15 shows, where designers will cover the widest range of men's fashion - menswear, and accessories, which under one roof allows the consumers the widest showcasing.
