You've had a great evening together with this bloke and he offers to walk you back home. It's cold outside, perhaps raining and he walks you to your doorstep. You keep making small talk about what a great evening it was, waiting for him to make the next move. He doesn't quite get the idea.
You stand there, contemplating the pros and cons of 'going for the thing', unsure of whether it's really a good idea.
Here are few things you need to consider:
Trust vote
Do you trust him? This doesn't mean you need to know his bank account number. However, you might get into a bit of a spot, if the guy is a psycho who keeps asking if he can play with your hair. If you think you can rest some amount of faith in his character, go ahead and let him kiss you.
The evening was great!
If the guy has really made things special for you through the evening, he surely deserves a kiss. All good work needs to be rewarded. Nayanti Reddy, a 25-year-old IT professional says, "This old schoolmate, who I had met after several years, took me out for dinner. We had such a great time that I had to let him know that I truly enjoyed the dinner. We ended up making out at my doorstep."
If you think this guy is worth more of your time and that a relationship with him could be possible, maybe you could let him have it. Pari Ghosh, a 24-year-old marketing executive, says, "I let my boyfriend kiss me when I was sure that we would take things further. It just felt good to get intimate with him."
Looking for action
You may have just broken up with your boyfriend or never had a first kiss and felt like this is the right moment to get initiated! Sanam Parekh, a 25-year-old sales executive says, "I had just broken up with my boyfriend and was feeling lonely, when this guy offered to buy me a drink. We hung out for a while and ended up kissing. We haven't seen each other since, but there wasn't any uneasiness."
Is he hot?
This isn't rocket science, is it? If the guy is good looking, and asking for it, you would have to have a really good reason not to kiss him!
It's always essential to remember though, that one good thing should beget another. Make sure the kiss is as memorable for you as it is for him!
