2nd phase of engg. counselling

The State government has decided to go for the second phase of engineering counselling in September in view of change of branches in some colleges by the AICTE and also to provide a second chance to students who may not be pleased with the seat allotment for various reasons. APSCHE Chairman K.C. Reddy said there was a change in intake in around 20 colleges as they had opted for streams like EEE, ECE, Mechanical and Civil in place of IT. Prof. Reddy said the academic calendar would not be disturbed despite the second phase of counselling.

He said another opportunity would be given to students who failed to attend certificate verification for a couple of days and this would be anytime between August 20 and 24.
