Double admissions leave MBA students in a fix

Future of 84 students who got admitted to Church P.G. College in Qutubullapur, owned by Aurora Educational Institutions, for MBA course hangs in balance as the college management made admissions in both Single Window-II and Single Window-III for the same college on different names. Entry denied

Students who got admitted through Single Window-II were denied entry into college by the management stating that those seats were filled through Single Window-III.

The students along with parents staged a dharna at the APSCHE demanding justice. The college management is arguing that they had intimated the AFRC about leaving Single Window-II and joining Single Window-III and it was not their fault if admissions were made.

However, APSCHE Chairman K.C. Reddy said that the college that sought admission for Single Window-II was approved by AICTE and affiliated by the university later.

The college in which admissions were made through Single Window-III did not exist at all in the said place.

Prof. Reddy said criminal action would be initiated against the college management for ‘deceiving’ students.
Assurance

He assured the students that admissions made through Single Window-II only would be considered valid. A committee would be constituted on Tuesday to look into the issue.
