Check out the style disasters, fashion faux pas and more
Dev D divas or disasters
That's for you to decide. But let's put things into perspective. Imagine making your very first red carpet appearance in casuals and wearing beads that suspiciously look like junk from Janpath!
Let's hear you cheer for Kalki and Mahi who are representing India in the Venice Film Festival and looking like run-away college girls. A suggestion for these talents: please put a stylist on speed dial.
A roomy hobo
The Hermes Birkin bag needs no introduction but meet the lady who inspired that must-have bag. Introducing English actress Jane Birkin (see pic above left and centre)! And you were thinking of Posh, weren't you!
There 'was' a time when she was a style icon and now she stands out on the red carpet with a roomy knit sweater, ill-fitting-rolled-out-of-the-bed clothes and walking boots.
You might be thinking what I am thinking - an absolute antithesis to the Birkin bag! More of bag lady than lady who inspires luxe bags!
Frozen and washed away
I am concerned about Tilda (see pic above, left)! The disconcerting look raises doubts about her health. She might be in need of haemoglobin you know. The fossilised look is very, very worrying!
You know it might be one of those days for French actress Isabelle Huppert (see pic above, right). Here goes: woke up late in the morning and while brewing coffee and brushing teeth simultaneously realisation hit hard - have to attend the Venice Film Festival. So, run for a bath and opps there's no time to wash hair, just brush in some dry shampoo and rush out! And, completely forget to cover freckles on hands and legs with make-up…damn!
Oooh aaah Evaaaah
It's the boyfriend heaving at the sight of Cuban hotness. I am not a fan of greasy and limp hair, wearing red on the red carpet (that too in animal print, yikes), and a belted secretary dress!
I wonder if women with fab bods are delusional about style choices. Not everything works, you know!
Girl crush
Ok, I am totally digging those dresses, that hair and those lusty Dior shoes! These stylistas from the Orient - Yuqin and Ye - have got it going on the red carpet.
The look is classic, wild, creative (teaming grey animal print dress with purple heels), love the hair, make-up is perfect…phew! Yeah, it's completely a girl crush ;) Asian chicks always rock!:)
