‘La Dolce Victoria’.... Is Victoria Beckham's new hairstyle a hit or a miss?

Finally, Victoria Beckham is starting to look like a real woman.

Short, sweet and just a little shaggy, her latest hairstyle is very ‘La Dolce Vita’.
It gives her the look of a young Sophia Loren, Claudia Cardinale or Gina Lollobrigida, the sultry, smouldering 1960s ‘brunette bombshells’ who challenged the reign of Hollywood’s blonde goddesses.

All she needs now is a few platefuls of pasta to give her their curves, too.

Mrs Beckham launched her transformation at the weekend, as she watched an LA Lakers basketball game, with her husband, David, and their sons, Romeo, 7, and Cruz, 4.

The new cut is undeniably feminine and, coupled with an equally new “no make-up make-up”, turns her instantly into ‘Pretty Woman’, rather than catwalk-wannabe.

Soft and face-framing – and apparently devoid of any ‘artificial’ assistance from hair extensions – this hairstyle is a stark contrast to some of the extreme “Posh’’ looks we have seen over the past few years, including the severe chignon, the ‘Samurai’ topknot, and the platinum, side-parted ‘bob’.

So, does Posh cut it? Tell us what you think….
