Chetan Bhagat hasn’t let go of the 3 Idiots controversy

Looks like Chetan Bhagat hasn’t let go of the 3 Idiots controversy, where he raised a stink over not getting opening credits in the film, which was based on his book Five Point Someone.

3 Idiots, produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and scripted by Rajkumar Hirani and Abhijat Joshi, picked up the Filmfare Award for Best Story, among five others, last evening. In response to a tweet, “Hope you are doing ok! You need lots of courage!”, he said, “I'm fine, you guys with me.” He added, “Heard they didn't even say thanks. Krishna is watching. They took home the trophy. I took home the love. What's better?” On a philosophical note, he remarked, “Bad things happen to you, to make you realise your true potential, strength, will power, and heart.”

The writer also seems to have a new object of affection — Katrina Kaif. He’s been finding the actress’ hoardings for a soft drink commercial “absolutely stunning”. He commented, “It's more the photography, her face in black and white and a splash of mango color for the drink. Striking amongst the hoarding clutter.” Watch out, Chetan, you don’t want Salman Khan finding out about this one!
