Arya, whose stakes in K’town are high afer his recent hits, is busy wrapping up his high-action masala flick Vettai.
He’ll be working with Lingusamy for the first time and the combo has garnered a lot of attention. When Madhavan signed with Lingusamy for the second time (after his earlier super hit Run), to play a parallel hero in Vettai, expectations soared sky-high.
Amala Paul, the toast of Kollywood, co-stars with Arya and leggy actress Sameera is Madhavan’s love interest.
A wedding scene with Maddy and Sameera was shot recently at Karaikudi. A ‘get-together’ song prior to this was also canned with Arya, Amala and hundreds of junior artistes and dancers at a huge set erected for this purpose.
“Amala was seen gelling with Arya, she stuck to him like quick-fix glue all through the shoot and gave her best shots,” commented a unit hand who was present at the shoot.
