Bhatt-Emran Hashmi alliance ends?

Everyone knows that if it is a Mukesh Bhatt-Mahesh Bhatt production, then the lead actor has to be Emraan Hashmi.

Since Hashmi's debut in Footpath in 2003, all Vishesh Films projects have featured him in the lead role, except in Dhoka (2007) where model Muzammil Ebrahim was launched. But things are fast changing in the Bhatt camp.

As we have come to know that their next project will feature Kunal Khemmu and not Hashmi as the hero. The film will not even include a cameo by their favourite actor.

Kunal Khemmu on returning to the Bhatt camp said, "We go back a long way. I did my first acting role as a child in the Bhatts' Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke. I did one of my most important roles in Zakhm again as a child actor for them. Then I did Kalyug."

"Yes we have been in talks for a while. Now I am doing a film, which revolves around the story of a man living abroad, his dreams, adventures and misadventures," he said.

Kunal is not only excited about returning to the Bhatt camp after Kalyug he's also excited as the film is being shot in Belgium.

"It is the first time that a Hindi film is being shot in Belgium. We've selected some stunning locations. We start shooting in two weeks," he added.

The film is being directed by Vishal Mahadkar, who has been an assistant director for the Bhatts for quite some time now.

Vishal was recently in the news for apparently coming to blows with Bhatt favourite Mohit Suri over Udita Goswami. Kunal will star opposite Amrita Puri of Aisha fame.
