Sekhar compares LIB to Magadheera

Sensible filmmaker Sekhar Kammula is not ready to accept that his films are small when it comes to span, instead he confidently says his upcoming project 'Life Is Beautiful' is on par with Tollywood's highest grosser Magadheera.

"Normally, the shooting of most of the small films will be wrapped up in 30-40 days. It took 144 days to complete the shooting of Life Is Beautiful. This means, LIB is just 20-30 days short of the number of working days in which Magadheera was shot. Usually, my films go through multiple phases of pre-production, starting from scripting, casting, training artists, scouting locations and finally completing the shooting. To outsiders my film may appear small, but the span and the reach is higher," he stressed.

Life Is Beautiful has done fantastic business all over and it's been releasing in record number of theaters in USA. Sekhar's brand value has worked big time with the film sold out for around Rs 16-17 crores, making it to the list of his films released with table profits (Happy Days, Leader and now LIB). The director wants to send the message that 'Life Itself Is A Celebration, Irrespective Of Our Social Status' with his new product.
