Neighbours reportedly object to Macho Sunny’s private theatre

Sunny Deol is said to have built an in-house mini preview theatre on the premises of his dubbing studio Sunny Super Sound for private viewing. This sea-facing property is a stone's throw from the homes owned by Bollywood celebrities like the Lullas —Kishore and Sunil, Padmini Kolhapure, Shakti Kapoor and others. Sources say that Sunny has spent a huge amount on the interiors and is even trying to get a 2-K system installed to enhance viewing pleasure. However, the latest twist in this story is that the municipal authorities have reportedly asked the actor to stop work on the theatre and further clearances have been withdrawn because rumours say, some of the neighbouring buildings raised objections to Deol having a theatre on his property. Here, one must add, that Sunny is an intensely private guy who avoids public places like regular cinema halls, malls or even a hair-dressing salon. In fact, in the recent past, international studios have had screenings of their latest releases for Sunny and Bobby Deol at a preview theatre in Bandra. As luck would have it, the licence of that theatre has been temporarily revoked and hence, Sunny made plans to build his own theatre. One must add that he owns the largest and one of the most enviable collections of foreign DVDs. He doesn't believe in borrowing a movie from the library nor does he lend his films to anyone except close family members.
