Dear Comrade has been one of the most awaited films of Vijay
Deverakonda, who is revered as youth icon by his Rowdies. The poetic
teaser of Dear Comrade did raise the curiosity and expectations bar over
the film. Here is the trailer of Dear Comrade. The trailer indicates
that the film has several layers. Most importantly it has student
politics as well as a beautiful college love story. Comrade Bobby
Krishnan (Vijay) leads the students against the politics in college. He
has love Lilly (Rashmika Mandanna) who is a state-level cricket
player.
What happens when the Comrade's love fails after 3
years. What led to Comrade's breaks up with his girl friend and how it
affects his life and how does he deal with it. The trailer has revealed
the whole plot of the film. It is an action drama laced with love story.
Comrade's anger and his fights scare Lilly and this leads to their
break-up. When he loses contact with her, how does he cope with it. Will
Comrade and Lilly reunite? What if life gives second chance? This is
Dear Comrade is all about.
The trailer promises youthful elements which is the USP. The present youth and college goers finds interesting premise like student politics and love and break-up in Dear Comrade. While it has shades of Arjun Reddy like anger, love, lip locks and break-up, but Dear Comrade has a different flavour. This seperates it from Arjun Reddy. But the lip kiss scenes of Vijay and Rashmika in the trailer will surely make the noise. It is interesting as the film is all set for release on 26th July in four languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. First-time director Bharat Kamma seems to have done an impressive job. Justin Prabhakaran's music compliments the visuals. Mythri Movie's production values are good. Let's wait and see, whether Vijay recreates the resounding victory at the Box Office again or not.
