Strange are the ways of Telugu Desam Party MP from Vijaywada Kesineni
Srinivas alias Nani. He has been posting critical comments against
everybody, including those from his own party, for the last few days,
for the reasons known only to him.
The latest attack from Kesineni was on YSR Congress party government headed by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The ruling party has been in an embarrassing situation with the Central government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi categorically declaring that there was no question of granting special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
Referring to Jagan’s statement that he would achieve special category status to AP someday by the grace god, Kesineni ridiculed the chief minister for securing just Rs 21 crore to the state in the Union budget.
“Hon’ble chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy sir, you have achieved great thing by forcing the Centre on its knees and got Rs 21 crore to the state. You and your 22 MPs are very great sir,” he tweeted in a sarcastic tone.
In the assembly session held last month, Jagan got a resolution passed asking the Centre to grant special category status rather than special financial package for which Naidu had compromised with the Centre.
But the Modi government categorically announced that there was no question of granting any special status to AP and said it was ready to extend only special package.
