The much awaited trailer of Nagarjuna's Manmadhudu 2 is out and Nag has nailed it to the core in the 2-minute-odd trailer. The trailer is full of fun banters with Nagarjuna taking the center stage. Like in Manmadhudu, Nagarjuna plays a man who is reluctant to get married and settle in life. But he loves women unlike in the original. And his singledom, naturally, doesn't go well with his mother (Lakshmi) and their relatives, family friends.
Nag is someone who has never been in love. And then he meets Rakul Preet. Rakul falls for Nag and his charm. Rakul impresses Nag's family and she decides to get married to Nag. This creates unwanted conflict. Even if he agrees for marriage, Nag doesn't want to have kids - as he doesn't want to take any further responsibility other than himself. This is a big shock to Rakul and her world turns upside down.
But this emotional love story between Nag and Rakul has been handled so smoothly laced with humour. The film also throws light on the loneliness which is being faced by many.
Going by the trailer, Rahul Ravindran seems to have done a pretty good job in delivering a nice package of family, romance, humour and emotion. Vennela Kishore is yet another strength as his comedy tickles the funny bone of viewers to the core. His scenes with Nag seems to have worked out well. Nag looks handsome as usual. He looks his best in the film. Sukumar's visuals are grand. Chaithan Bharadwaj's music is appealing.
On the whole, Manmadhudu 2 is promising and the film to watch out for this August 9.
