It's known that SS Rajamouli will be wielding the megaphone for a pan-India film starring Mahesh Babu in the lead after wrapping up 'RRR'. The untitled project is expected to go on the floors in the second half of 2022.
The news is that writer Vijayendra Prasad (Rajamouli's father) has suggested that the film will have a forest backdrop. It will be set in the forests of Africa. An action-thriller, the big-ticket flick will be on the lines of forest adventure films made in Hollywood. Unless there is a change in the plan, the backdrop will remain this.
The 'Baahubali' writer has nearly confirmed the backdrop in an interview with a top portal.
KL Narayana of Durga Arts will produce the film, which could release in theatres in 2023 or 2024.
