Master Manjunath upset with Kavitha Lankesh

Master Manjunath is very upset with director Kavitha Lankesh and he is reportedly planning to file a lawsuit against her for not giving due credit
to his late father Shankar Naga, who is one among the two directors of Malgudi Days. He has claimed that there is no special mention of his father's name on the CDs and DVDs of Malgudi Days serial.

Master Manjunath, who is busy writing script for Kannada movies, had also played a Swami in Malgudi Days. He says that his father Shankar Naga had struggled very hard to bring a good quality in the Malgudi Days serial in those days when there was no availablity of high technology.

Manjunath is unhappy over the ‘lack of recognition’ for film director Shankar Nag. “There are CDs that mention ‘Directed by Kavitha Lankesh and Shankar Nag’,” the Bangalore Mirror quotes him as saying. He objects to such generalisations. He says that he does not have any personal grudge against Kavitha Lankesh. “I do think that credit should be given correctly. I wish I could file a law suit,” the Bangalore Mirror reports him as saying.
