According to a report published on a Telugu news channel, Rana Daggubati
got a successful kidney transplantation in the USA where he's getting
treated at a Chicago hospital. Though there is no official statement
over this, few NRIs in the USA have confirmed that indeed Rana has got
operated.
Reports have that Rana is suffering from kidney-related issues after Sodium levels in his body got altered, as he has done some heavy workout for the movie Baahubali. Later the actor got treated at a super speciality hospital in Hyderabad first and Mumbai later, but things are not coming under control. For the same reason, he went to the USA now to get examined by world-class doctors.
With doctors reportedly confirming that Rana has to undergo a transplant, his mother Lakshmi Daggubati is said to have donated him the kidney. Of course, there is no substitution to motherly love. Currently, Suresh Babu and his family are there in the USA only including Rana's sister, brother and his aunt Lakshmi (Naga Chaitanya's mother).
The TV reports indicated that Rana will be taking rest for a minimum of two months before he returns to India to take part in the shootings of Virata Parvam and other movies.
PS: Rana is hale and healthy and already he shared a video of him wishing the team of Dear Comrade all the good luck and revealed that he will catch this Vijay Devarakonda starrer in the USA.
