Namitha and her stunt sequences

Namitha is slowly but surely coming out of the debacle that her latest film 'Indiravizha' has finally turned out to be. The innumerable e-mail messages that sent to her fans prior to the release of the film to promote it have turned futile in the ultimate analysis. Now she has all her concentration diverted towards her next film 'Jaganmohini', a remake of the super-hit Tamil-Telugu bilingual film of the same name which released in the early eighties.

"Like I did in Indiravizha, I have given equal importance to glamour and acting in Jaganmohini too. As I play the role of a spirit, I was made to hang upside down. With my weight, hanging upside down from a distance is quite a huge risk. Yet, I did the sequence with total commitment and dedication. I have reconciled to the fate that I can only be remembered as a glamour doll in Tamil films.


"To have a change of image, I have attempted lot of action sequences in my upcoming Telugu film titled 'esh Drohi'. You have to believe it; I have performed all the tough action scenes on my own," says Namitha with lot of expectations in her eyes.

Bharath is the name of the youth who had been seen with her until recently. The guy has been missing for quite some time and when asked about what happened to him, all Namitha has to say is "it's a personal matter"
