You walk into a temple, and spot the priest asking this beautiful girl for her autograph. You wonder why! And then you notice the bodyguards standing in one corner. You got it. It's a celeb in disguise.

Cameron Diaz has revealed that she loves to dress up in disguises so she can step out in public and stay unnoticed. The My Sister's Keeper star also confesses to stealing costumes from movie sets to help her pretend to be someone else.

Here's a look at some celebrities who love disguises.

From Hollywood

Katy Perry

Singer Katy Perry likes to disguise herself when in public. He was reported saying "I am like a ninja when it comes to disguise. I am really good at putting on a hat and sunglasses, and leaving my sparkly outfits at home and putting on some sweats or something."

Daniel Craig

The 'Casino Royale' star hates being recognized, when he's trying to have a quiet drink, so he wears a false beard, a hat and a pair of sunglasses. Despite hating the fame that comes with playing the world's most famous secret agent, the 39-year-old actor hopes he can continue to star in the James Bond franchise.

The burkha magic

The Burkha trick is perhaps one of the oldest in the book. Many Indian celebs have used the dress code in a bid to skip the public eye.

Himesh Reshammiya

Recently, there was uproar about Himesh Reshammiya having worn a burkha to visit the Dargha. (We wonder what the uproar was about - a man wearing a burkha or Himesh Reshammiya wearing it!).

Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif was seen in Ajmer in a burkha. The actress was there to seek the blessings of God for the success of her film New York'. The last time she had visited the Dargha, she wore a skirt which raised a lot of objection.

Priety Zinta

The actress wore a burkha on Independence Day when she went into a theatre at Bandra to watch Chak De India. Priety could easily have gone to a multiplex, but she wanted to judge the reaction of masses, hence the burkha to avoid attention. Since she was in disguise, the actress could scream, whistle and cheer along with the audience. (Oye Bubbly, Bubbly Oye)

Well there have been many others who have experimented with the burkha-trick. We had Mallika Sherawat wearing a burkha at the Delhi airport. Also, Vidya Balan had worn a burkha while visiting a theatre for the screening of Kismat Konnection to gauge public response.

Have you ever spotted a celeb in your neighbourhood? What do you think about celebs in disguise? Leave a comment and tell us.
