Stars ring in their big day

Three well known stars of the Kannada film industry will be celebrating their birthday today. Dr Vishnuvardhan, Upendra and Shruthi share the same birthday and for years have been celebrating their birthdays with much fanfare. Dr Vishnuvardhan and Upendra will be celebrating their birthdays with their fans and will be staying put in their residences in Jayanagar 4th Block and Banashankari III stage respectively.
There has been a sea change in Shruthi’s life since her last birthday and she is presently fighting a divorce case in the court. She has also lost her post as a Chief of Karnataka State Women and Child welfare Board because of the ripples her divorce case had created.
Dr Vishnu’s fans took out a long procession from Kumara Swamy Layout to his residence on Thursday afternoon. Thousands of fans had participated in the procession after which the contingent met the star and his family members.
Upendra was shooting with his wife on Thursday at Bidadi for his film Shrimathi, but is sure to meet his fans today to receive the birthday wishes. Uppi fans are also excited about the fact that that his much awaited film Rajini is releasing today. The film is a fast paced entertainer produced by Ramu and directed by Thriller Manju. Arati Chabbria plays the heroine and the song Tiruboki is already a chart-buster.
Dr Vishnu’s three films are now ready for release which includes his 200th film Aaptha Rakshaka. But his fans are now eagerly looking forward for Dada’s next release Bellary Naga directed by Dinesh Babu. A new film to be produced by Shobharaj is expected to be announced during the birthday celebrations.
Uppi’s fans are looking forward to an announcement from the actor about his next film which uses the hand symbol as the title. Uppi is being very secretive and is unwilling to reveal further details soon.
As for Shruthi is concerned she will be greeted by her fiancee and film director Chakravarthy and her daughter. But as usual she may have a quiet birthday with Mahendar and her other family members. We wish all these stars a rocking birthday!
