Nidhi Subbaiah to debut in Tamil

Nidhi Subbaiah, the pretty model-turned-actress, is making her debut in the Tamil film industry with a film titled Kadhalan Kadhali. This movie marks another first as it is actor Jai Akash’s debut directorial venture. Nidhi who rose to fame with commercials like that of a popular fairness cream and soon ventured into tinsel town. She even starred in a couple of Kannada movies including Krishna Nee Late Aagi Baro.

The actress who has always played roles of the girl-next-door is now doing something different in this movie where she portrays Meenakshi, who according to Akash is the powerful, modern day version of the mythological character Sita who is ready to fight for her true love.

Apart from Nidhi there are two other heroines in this film — Daisy Bopanna and Tollywood actress Suhasini. Apart from directing and playing the role of the protagonist, Akash has also penned the screenplay and dialogues for this movie. The audio was released recently and the movie is set to hit the screens in November.
