Maddy aka Madhavan has decided that from now on only meaningful roles are for him. He feels he has reached a stage in his career where he can afford to be choosy. The actor is going to avoid films that do not give him the scope to perform and he won't do supporting roles either unless the character is special.
Madhavan is excited about Lingusamy's Vettai as it is a solid role and he will be playing a cop for the first time. From this point whether it is Tamil cinema or Bollywood, he will do only meaty roles.
