Kollywood Hot News is that Mankatha is a remake of the Hindi Hit komovie Jannat. The media came up with this news because Jannat, which had Emraan Hashmi and Sonal Chauhan playing the lead roles, also dealt with match fixing and bookies. Reacting to this news, Mankatha’s producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri has said that the news is definitely not true.
He has said that fans will come to know that both the films are very different from each other when Mankatha releases and not to believe in such baseless rumors. It may be mentioned here that Mankatha also deals with bookies and hence the rumors began circulating.
