Three bullets 'lost' from crime scene

Investigations over J Dey's murder received another heavy blow yesterday, when scientists from the state Forensic Science Lab (FSL) at Kalina admitted that three of the bullets fired at Dey were never recovered from the scene of crime.

Scene of the crime: Forensic experts claim if they were promptly
called to the spot where J Dey was murdered they could have
recovered all the bullets

Needless to say, this disappearance is a huge setback for the forensic team, which was, shockingly, called to inspect the scene of crime as many as 24 hours after the crime was committed.

Repurcussions
Needless to say, this 'loss' may have huge repurcussions on the investigation and court proceedings of the case in future. If retrieved on time, ballistic examinations of these bullets could have provided crucial leads and clinching evidence with which to nab Dey's assailants.
