Believe it or not, the position of small-movies in Tollywood is currently so pathetic. They are almost on the brink of loosing and the damage done is heavy already. But a decision made by 'Tamil Producers' opened the doors of 'new dreams' for them!
For every festival, national holiday and a holiday-season, atleast one big hero is coming with his flick. Other than releasing, HIS flick is occupying most of the theatres, advertisement slots in TV Channels and other promotional places. With no chance to breathe, small-films are waiting for months and months to get a chance. To bail them out from that pathetic fate, a decision has taken by Tamil Producers recently. Now big heroes of Tamilnadu can release their flicks only on big-festivals and national-holidays. There is no chance for them to come in summer-season or in any other time of the year. This definelty helps small-films to make few bucks and to introduce few young and fresh talents to the industry.
Now, the same decision is in discussion among our Telugu heroes. What if our heroes' films can be released only on particular dates? There is no chance for someone to bag 1000+ theatres and the competition will be strong! So, will they use their influence to not make any such resolution here is something to be seen now.
