The new movie ‘Rebel’ may well have got stuck due to various reasons
and kept its hero Prabhas out of radar for more than an year. But its
arrival seems to be gathering a lot of heat and this has resulted in
many big guns investing high money. The film is releasing on coming
Friday ie September 28th.
So far, it has been generating a strong buzz in the industry. It has been made on a grand scale at a budget of 40+ crores so it is natural that the makers are planning for a release on a grand scale. Notable names in the circuit have bought the rights for astronomical figures, as per sources.
The Nizam area has been taken by Dil Raju for Nizam, Krishna district has gone to 14 Reels, Uttarandhra has gone to Bellamkonda Suresh. There is also news that the overseas and out of state rights are sold for record prices. For now, the picture is clear, the stakes are high and gambles are big. Whether ‘Rebel’ can live up to the expectation is the big question.
