Indian film fraternity is one place wherein star kids have always enjoyed certain privileges and benefits. And the interesting bit is, it is not just the star kids but also the kith and kin of stars who have enjoyed special benefits. But right now, Tollywood is suffering due to the second grade star kids.
Some of the notable examples for that are Posani Sudheer Babu, Sushant, Sumant, Dharam Tej etc. If no other hero is available then these guys are approached for a film. Since they are not getting many chances they are saying okay to the films but then that is not really working for the moviemakers.
At least roping in a new face it is okay but with the second grade star kids, the market of the film will go down. As if that is not enough, since they come from film backgrounds they will show airs. There are also conditions that a minimum number of theatres must be booked for the release. This lands the producers in trouble. That way, the direct star kids have scene but not the relations. So, dealing with them is turning out to be risky.
