Row resolved: Yukta Mookhey gets son's custody

The Bombay high court on Wednesday accepted the mediator's report and expressed satisfaction that the discord between former Miss World Yukta Mookhey and her estranged husband Prince Pal Tuli was resolved successfully. Their lawyers informed the court that both Mookhey and Tuli agreed to mutually part ways. Mookhey gets her son's custody for which she did not take any alimony from Tuli. The criminal case against Tuli also gets dropped and so does the divorce case filed by Tuli. In the meantime, the court granted him anticipatory bail. The two were married in November 2008. In May last year, Tuli filed for divorce on the ground of cruelty in Nagpur where they were staying together after marriage. She filed a petition to get the case transferred to Mumbai where she is now residing. After the reconciliation, all cases would be withdrawn now. While Tuli's lawyer is Filji Frederick, Mookhey was represented by Jamshed Mistry and Taubon Irani. The HC had last October appointed advocate Rajeev Patil as a mediator after Tuli applied for anticipatory bail after a cruelty complaint was filed against him. It is the first high-profile marital dispute where an HC-appointed mediator has resolved the matter. Yukta Mookhey , Yukta Mookhey News, Yukta Mookhey Divorced
