Senior Cinematographer A Vincent No More

South Indian Senior cinematographer Aloysius Vincent breathed his last today at the age of 86. During the era of NTR and ANR, Sr Vincent has stunned audiences with his vibrant work and praiseworthy camera angles. He worked for movies like Pelli Kanuka (B&W), Adavi Ramudu, Apathbandavudu and Raghavendra RaoĆ¢€™s notable films like Gharana Mogudu and Major Chandrakanth. During the times of computer-less-graphics, his work on movies like Sahasaveerudu Saagara Kanya is amazing. His last film in Telugu is visual marvel, the all time best devotional flick Annamayya. He worked for number of movies in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam while directing a classical Malayali flick like Bhargavi Nilayam. On Wednesday morning, he passed here at a Chennai hospital due to prolonged illness. Cinematographers Jayanan Vincent and Ajay Vincent are his sons. -
