Bollywood Cute actress Sonam Kapoor was admitted to a hospital in Rajkot on Saturday where her blood sample was taken for swine flu and other medical tests. The report of the medical tests conducted on her is positive and the doctor has confirmed that the actress has been afflicted with H1N1, or swine flu. Sonam’s physical trainer has also caught the dreaded virus, which is spreading dangerously in Gujarat and across the country. "Tests revealed that Sonam Kapoor had tested positive for swine flu, she is stable now. It seems she got infected with the virus from her gym trainer who too has tested positive," Dr. Pankaj Rathore told ANI.
The actress had cough and mild fever when she first came to Rajkot a couple of days back and had to fly back to Mumbai for treatment, said the doctor. "She was suffering from cough, sore throat and mild fever and has been kept under observation," Kamal Parikh, medical director of Sterling Hospital, told PTI. The film's unit, including actor Salman Khan and director Sooraj Barjatya, is camping in Gondal, about 36 km from the city, for more than a week. Sonam returned to Gondal on Friday. The Khoobsurat actress was admitted in Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai last month after contracting a respiratory infection. Sonam, the daughter of actor-producer Anil Kapoor, has featured in films like Delhi-6, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Doli Ki Doli.
