Music Director DSP wants to put behind Sardaar failure

South India Music sensation Devi Sri Prasad had a dream start this year with 'Nenu Sailaja' becoming a super hit. His songs like 'Crazy Feeling' and 'Sailaja Sailaja' turned out as chartbusters. Even his second film 'Nannaku Prematho' became a hit and DSP's work was pivotal in the film's success. But his first roadblock this year came in the form of 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh'. Devi had a wonderful last year with hit albums like 'Srimanthudu', 'Kumari 21F' and many others. He started this year too on a grand note and this made everyone wait for 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' album. Also, all the previous outings from Pawan-DSP combo were super hits like 'Jalsa', 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Attarintiki Daaredi'. But belying everyone's expectations, the album of 'Sardaar' was pretty much average. None of the songs became instant chartbusters. As the film lacks proper stuff, even DSP's background score was not able to lift it and the film failed miserably. Currently, Devi is having two big projects on hand. While the first one is NTR's 'Janatha Garage', the other one is Balakrishna's prestigious 100th film. Hope, he bounces back with these films and gets back on track.
