Turning heroes from neighboring film industries into villains in
Telugu films, of course by shelling huge sum as remuneration, has become
a new trend. Mass director Boyapati Sreenu, who has already turned
heroes - Jagapathi Babu and Aadi Pinisetty into villains in his films -
Legend and Sarrainodu respectively, is reportedly trying to rope in a
Bollywood hero as villain in his next film starring Ram Charan.
Buzz
is that Boyapati is in talks with Bollywood hero Vivek Oberoi to play
villain role in his film with Ram Charan. Vivek is well known to Telugu
audiences since he essayed the lead role in Ram Gopal Varma's "Raktha
Charithra".
Earlier, he was approached to play villain in Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Khaidi No.150", but the actor declined the offer. Boyapati however is confident of roping him since Vivek has recently made his debut in Tamil film industry, playing villain role in Ajith's "Vivekam". The Bollywood hero might just give his nod considering the magnitude of RC-Boyapati combo, and also the viciousness with which Boyapati sculpts villain characters.
Actress Ramya Krishna, who has become one of the most in-demand actresses after "Baahubali", is also approached by Boyapati to play a key role in the film, say reports. Ramya Krishna had acted with Chiranjeevi in several films, and this film would be her first with Charan, if she gives her nod.
Anu Emmanuel has reportedly been finalized to play the film's leading lady. Boya seems to be continuing his strategy of enriching his films with stellar star-cast for Chaarn's film too.
