Jagapathi Babu is replaced by Prakash Raj in Mahesh's Sarileru Neekevvaru. Jagapathi and director Anil Ravipudi said that it was because of unavoidable 'situations'.
Who created those situations and why did Jagapathi lose this opportunity?
One of our reliable sources informed that Prakash Raj's desperation is the reason for sacking Jagapathi Babu.
Veteran actor Prakash Raj who contested as an independent MP in recent elections lost it by a huge margin. He spent a lot of money for campaigning and also rejected many film offers at that time.
Now Prakash Raj is in a desperate state to get busy in films again. He needed one big ticket film to get back in the business. So he contacted his close friend Dil Raju and asked for a role in Sarileru Neekevvaru.
Dil Raju couldn't do the favor as the casting was already finalized. Then Prakash Raj met Mahesh and pleaded him to give him a role in the film.
Mahesh and Dil Raju couldn't help but request Jagapathi Babu to make way for Prakash Raj, who is in bad shape financially.
Although Jagapathi didn't like to move out, he couldn't hurt Mahesh and Raju, which is why he silently let go off the project.
