How did Priyamani got a role in ‘Raavan’?

Mani Ratnam’s Villain (Raavan in Hindi)

Mani Ratnam’s much awaited ‘Raavan (Hindi),’ one of the biggest movies of the year, is simultaneously made in Tamil as ‘Raavanan’ with a slightly different cast. The Tamil version is dubbed into Telugu with the title ‘Villain.’ The posters of the film are now out.

The film stars Vikram, Aishwarya Rai and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles and Prabhu Ganesan, Karthik Muthuraman and Priyamani in supporting roles. It is expected for release on 18 June.

Hindi Version has Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vikram in the lead roles while Govinda, Ravi Kishan, Nikhil Dwivedi, and Priyamani play key supporting roles. The audio of the film will be releasing today (24th April). ‘Raavan’ is the most anticipated album in recent times as Gulzar- AR Rahman- Mani Ratnam is a deadly trio.
