We heard a bizarre rumour doing the rounds that newcomer Illeana D'Cruz and Priyanka Chopra have been sharing some seriously cold vibes on the sets of Anurag Basu's Barfee.
A source says, "There's tension between Priyanka and Illeana because one is a newcomer from the south while the other is a senior actress. Even though they are co-stars, PC and Ileana don't really have anything common to bond over." It is being suggested that PC is apparently unhappy because Illeana's role has been increased and she also has a much stronger part in the film. This is hard to believe because Pranks is not an insecure actress. She has worked with newcomers like Mughda Godse and Kangna Ranaut in Fashion, and she got along well with both the actresses, and they were full of praise for her.
Priyanka takes time to thaw to people, and in his film she has a rather disturbing character to play, which may be why she has been keeping to herself on the set. Priyanka has always been professional and committed to her work and has till now never given any date or attitude problems. In fact all her directors have always remarked on her professionalism. PC's spokesperson says, "These reports are completely false. Illeana always had a good role right from the beginning and that's remained the same. Priyanka had never issues about it. She loves her own role (of a deaf and dumb girl) and is heavily into it."
