Rs 50 Lakh For Empillado song?

Vangapandu Prasada Rao is a celebrity even for this generation with Magadheera controversy. He has been making huge noise for the lines ‘Yem Pilaldo yeldam vasthava’ in a song from Magadheera. Initially he demanded Rs 1 Cr from Allu Aravind for using those lines and now asking at least Rs 50 lakh or demanding to remove those lines from the film. Allu Aravind is surely a wise man and he chooses the second option if things become serious. He never pays such big sum for anyone when forced.

On the other hand some are saying that the big lyricists like Chandrabose and Seetaramasastry get Rs 80000 to Rs 1.25 lakh for penning a song in any film. And they would work on every song till the music director and director get satisfied. There may be 5-10 and some times 15-20 iterations till the song gets finalized.

But how can Vangapandu demand Rs 50 lakh for just two lines? That is another question. Hence they say that even if Aravind has to pay for Vangapandu, that wouldn’t be more than Rs 5000/-. Is Vangapandu reading this? And before all this, Vangapandu has to prove that those two lines were really written by him and not in folklores earlier.
