TRS dissidents now back KCR’s fast

The Telangana Rashtra Samiti which had seen revolt by several leaders in the last few years, particularly after the 2009 general elections is now wooing back leaders who deserted the party.
Many of those who revolted have now extended support to the TRS president, Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao, and vowed to participate in the on-going agitation for Telangana. The Medak Parliament Member, Ms Vijayashanti, had called on Mr Chandrasekhar Rao in Nims and assured that she would participate in the movement whole-heartedly. The TRS MLC, Mr Dilip Kumar, ex-MLC, Mr H.A. Rehman and other dissidents are also supporting the TRS chief.
“We have to forget differences to achieve Telangana and build up pressure on the Congress,” said Mr Rehman.
“All MLAs of Telangana region should resign to their posts and begin a massive movement cutting across party lines. Only then will the Union government respond to the Telangana movement,’’ he added.
All the Telangana organisations including the joint action committee on Telangana employees are eagerly participating in the agitation and vowed to fight against the government
until achieving the separate state.
They said the agitation for the separate state will continue.
