NTR's Team Denies 2019 Poll Plans

Will NTR be fielded against Pawan Kalyan if the latter teams up with Left parties in 2019 AP assembly polls? Telugu Desam Party and NTR Jr have no cordial relations at present, but Chandrababu Naidu is said to be thinking about plan B. His plan A is using Pawan Kalyan and his Jana Sena as ally and split the anti-incumbency vote share. In case, Pawan Kalyan, as his recent tweets and speeches suggest, ends ties with TDP and BJP and aligns with left parties, Chandrababu wants to implement his other plan. He is said to have already spoken with brother-in-law Nandamuri Harikrishna of bringing NTR Jr back to TDP fold and using him for campaigning in 2019 polls. NTR campaigned for TDP in 2009 assembly elections but the party didn't succeed in unseating YSR then. Later Chandrababu Naidu's family and NTR have parted ways and in 2014 elections, NTR kept himself away from the polls and campaigning. In the meantime, the TDP Chief his son Nara Lokesh as his political varasudu and inducted him into his cabinet as minister for IT and Panchayat Raj. Political buzz is that now Chandrababu Naidu wants NTR to campaign in the next elections. Such speculations have begun. But Team NTR has denied these rumors. "NTR will stick to his movies. He has no political plans at this juncture," a source close to NTR said. Probably, NTR doesn't want to lose a segment of audience further by fitting against Pawan Kalyan.
