Katrina and Priyanka in Bride Wars

Bollywood is not new to rehashing of Hollywood films. Though the recently-released Hollywood flick Bride Wars was not a huge hit, producer Shrishti Arya has reportedly bought the rights to make its Bollywood version.

Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra have been approached to play the brides at war. According to sources, both the gorgeous gals of B-town have showed interest in their respective roles as they can relate to it easily. The original movie had Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway playing two best friends who want to get married on the same day and venue, and thus end up fighting.

Both the characters need to be stylish and fashionable and we guess the producers have made the right choice in approaching Kat and Priyanka. However, they are still finalizing the rest of the cast.

In Bollywood, films with feminine themes are a rarity; this could be a good leap.
