In this process, it is now heard that he has given a strict warning to the makers of his forthcoming venture which is the remake of the Bollywood blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’.
It is heard that the bilingual in Telugu and Tamil has got just Mahesh and Ileana in the lead role and apart from them, the rest of the cast is Tamil. Sources say that this is not going well with Mahesh and he is reportedly miffed that there are no Telugu actors in the Telugu version.
The buzz is that prince has already given a warning that he will back out of the project. Given the fact that it has Shankar as the director, the producers are worried that it might become a clash of the two biggies which will affect the film. All eyes are now on Shankar to see whether he listens to the prince or has his own way.

14 MLAs Ready To Ditch Chiru!
Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi’s assurance that his party would save Congress government whenever it requires appears to have not many takers within the party.
In fact, Chiranjeevi’s statement has led to heated debate within the party and made them wonder whether the party would have its own identity in the coming days. One wonders whether the PRP can really save the Rosaiah government, if such a situation arises.
The PRP has only 18 seats in the assembly and as many as 14 legislators are reportedly differing with Chiranjeevi to support the Rosaiah government. At least eight of them might come out of the PRP if Chiranjeevi really supports Rosaiah in the event of a crisis.
For instance, Nirmal MLA A Maheshwar Reddy is not maintaining close relations with party as he abided by Telangana statehood demand. Allagadda MLA Bhuma Shoba Nagi Reddy might sail with Jagan group because of her newly-found relationship with YSR family. Another MLA Katasani Rami Reddy is staying away from the PRP activities. Many others are also not willing to abide by Chiru stand, sources say.

AP State Congress cry foul over Babu’s Babli trip
Either by design or coincidence, almost the entire Congress leadership chose Wednesday to cry foul over the ‘inspection trip’ to the site of the controversial Babli Irrigation Project in Maharashtra by former chief minister and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and his team.
While Chief Minister K Rosaiah spoke against the trip at the state secretariat, his fellow Congress stalwarts chose separate locations to voice their disapproval of the entire five-day episode in which Mr Naidu and his team were arrested and then ‘deported’ to Hyderabad.
Talking to media persons separately, senior Congress leaders Ponguleti Sudhakar, Bhatti Vikramarka, Palludagu Venkat Rao and Tulsi Reddy said that Mr Naidu’s visit, deportation and Wednesday morning’s protest in front of the Gandhi statue in Assembly premises was a drama.
They virtually scoffed at the TDP chief’s protest over the Babli issue by saying that it was like the pot calling the kettle black. They sought to turn the tables on Mr Naidu by saying that it was he who was negligent on the Babli project since he was at the helm of administration in the state at the time the Maharashtra government began construction across the river Godavari.
The senior Congress leaders also decried Mr Naidu’s ‘attempts to gain sympathy’ by claiming that women legislators were manhandled by the Maharashtra police while being forced onto the special aircraft ferrying them to Hyderabad.
They reminded Mr Naidu that his administration had used mounted police against women protestors and also reminded him that his talk to ‘Telugu self-respect’ was meaningless by alleging that he had held ‘Telugu Legislators’ hostage in Hotel Viceroy during the rebellion against then chief minister and TDP founder NT Rama Rao.

Lagadapati Rajagopal MISSING!!! Is He Kidnapped?!
Lagadapati Rajagopal who is doing his fasting unto death at Vijayawada is now missing in cine-phakki. A Qualis Car with number AP 16 AH 6789 has crashed the gate where he is doing deeksha and carried Lagadapati Rajagopal away. People around him say that it’s a police kidnap, and some others say that he is moving towards Vizag to continue his deeksha. But meanwhile there are rumors that police traced him at Gannavaram but yet to be confirmed. Rajagopal has been demanding to shift him to NIMS, Hyderabad but the attempts were made by police to shift him to NRI Hospital in Magalagiri, Guntur District. However, this confused drama is yet to be unleashed with actual facts. But as of now Lagadapati Rajagopal is MISSING!!!!!

Three Indian students thrashed robbed in Australia
Melbourne In the backdrop of racial attacks against Indians, three students of the community were bashed and robbed when they were returning home at night.
The latest incident took place on Thursday night at around 10.30 pm (local time) when the victims were on their way home from Sunshine station along Anderson road, The Age reported.
Three to four persons approached the victims from behind near Derby Road Reserve demanding their wallets and cellphones, the police said in the report.
One of the victims a 26-year-old student from Sunshine handed over his wallets and mobile phone and escaped from the spot, the report said.
While the other two students aged 24 and 27 were thrashed by the offenders who also stole their cellphones.
The 24-year-old man received head injuries in the attack and the 27-year-old man suffered soreness to his upper body, the report said.

Centre refuses rice for YSR’s scheme
The state government’s prestigious Rs 2 per kilo rice scheme for the poor is in doldrums with the Centre refusing to provide the required quantity of rice and offering wheat instead.
The government will now have to spend at least Rs 200 crore till March 2010 to buy rice from the open market to make up for the shortfall and maintain status quo. It will have to spend another Rs 2,000 crore to fulfil the election promise made by the late chief minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, to give additional rice for the poor. The present allotment is 20 kilos per family and the promised additional allotment is another 10 kilos.
With the situation turning grim, the Chief Minister, Mr K. Rosaiah, has decided to take up the issue in the Cabinet meeting slated for Thursday. The civil supplies department has been asked to give a presentation to the Cabinet explaining the difficulties involved in implementing the scheme. The Centre has so far been giving about 40,000 metric tonnes of rice every month at Rs 8.40 per kilo which the government is giving to the poor at Rs 2 per kilo.
Though the allotment is made for above poverty line families, the state makes use of it for its Rs 2 per kilo rice scheme. The Centre, however, cut allotment of rice under APL category from October onwards. It instead offered 35,000 tonnes of wheat and 18,000 tonnes of rice.
“Wheat is of no use to us because ours is primarily a rice consuming state,” said a senior official. “We will be forced to buy the deficit rice at Rs 14 per kilo.”

Rosaiah gets support of senior leaders
In a new twist to the ongoing campaign to make Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy as the Chief Minister, a group of senior party leaders at a meeting here on Saturday decided to rally behind Chief Minister K. Rosaiah and the APCC chief D. Srinivas by asking party cadres to fall in line and back the high command’s decision.
At the meeting, which was held at the residence of former Minister Palvai Goverdhan Reddy here, former PCC chief P. Narsa Reddy, APCC spokesperson B. Kamalakar Rao and MLCs K. R. Amos and K. Yadava Reddy came out openly in support of the Chief Minister.
During the over two-hour-long discussion over lunch, these leaders, who were earlier vocal in demanding separate statehood for Telangana, resolved to take up a new slogan of loyalty to the high command. The leaders reportedly faulted Ministers for not extending cooperation to Mr. Rosaiah and felt it amounted to gross disobedience to the respected Chief Minister and violation of the AICC’s diktat. The Ministers should take up the issue of Jagan with the party’s central leadership directly instead of resorting to such tactics. The meeting also expressed resentment at the disruption of membership drive by workers, demanding that Mr. Jagan be made the Chief Minister. The leaders opined that YSR himself never defied the high command and took all important decisions in consultation with it.
The APCC president called on Mr. Rosaiah on Saturday night and is understood to have discussed organisational matters of the party, including the ongoing membership drive.
Meanwhile, K. V. P. Ramachandra Rao, YSR’s aide, is likely to visit New Delhi on September 29, the third such trip in a fortnight. Sources said Dr. Rao is scheduled to attend a Parliamentary committee meeting, but is likely to resume his efforts to meet AICC president Sonia Gandhi and other central leaders to convince them to take a decision on Mr. Jagan.

The meeting, which was held at Dr. Ramachandra Rao’s residence, was attended by Ministers Shilpa Mohan Reddy, Gade Venkat Reddy and Md. Syed Ahmedullah besides others.
While there was no political overtones in the speech, some leaders felt it would have been better if Mr. Jagan had made some reference to the party high command and to Ms. Sonia Gandhi.

CM, victim of security lapse
It was a security and administrative lapse all along. Security advisors to the state government had not bothered to suggest that the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, carry a satellite telephone with him at least while heli-hopping.
Worse, the team accompanying the Chief Minister of a progressive state does not possess even a simple jungle survival kit. There’s no emergency position indicating radio beacon (EPIRB) system with the chief security officer.
The team also did not bother to carry the Rs 150 blinker lamp, which serves as a beacon light to attract the attention of rescue teams in case of emergency. Only the government-owned BSNL has a cellular network in some pockets of the thick Nallamala forests over which the helicopter carrying the chief minister went missing.
Ironically, none of the members of the Chief Minister’s team has a BSNL cellphone connection. They have either Airtel or Idea, which do not have proper network in the jungle or countryside.
Moreover, the helicopter does not have a strong communication network except for its very high frequency communication system. It
has a limited range and the VHF gets connected to the nearest police network as the helicopter traverses through.
“We have not been using satellite phones. So we did not think of it,” was the casual reply of M Ramesh Reddy, one of the chief security officers of the Chief Minister. The other chief security officer John Wesley is accompanying the chief minister in the helicopter. He went on to say that the helicopter was in good condition and was equipped with a VHF set, without knowing that the very high frequency does not have wide range of communication, in contrast to high frequency sets.
AP Aviation Corporation managing director, Mr K.V. Brahmananda Reddy, also admitted the security lapse when he said the Chief Minister’s team was not carrying a satellite phone for emergency communication. Modern satellite phones are also equipped with distress radio beams, which sent out a unique SOS signal which is repeated quite often. The signal can be detected from virtually any point on the globe.
That the security advisors have taken the chief minister’s security rather lightly is evident from the fact that the team is equipped with only a pistol. Given the thick forest area and the naxal threat in the Nallamala forests as also the rugged hilly terrain, the chief security officer accompanying Rajasekhar Reddy should have taken extra precautions. But he did not bother to carry even a torch light as the team did not anticipate any trouble and the flight was during the day.

Minister Ponnala Laxmiah Hospitalized
Minister Ponnala Laxmiah got hospitalized just a few minutes ago followed by High BP, as per I News reports. He is admitted in Care Hospital. The news is that he got tensed up followed by YSR’s missing news and hence his blood pressure has got shot up. Doctors as of now say that his condition is ok but needs constant medical care.
